Chase Ink Business Preferred: what it's really worth
The Chase Ink Business Preferred has a $95 annual fee. For a typical household spending $2,070 a month, it's worth about $342 in year one and $342 each year after.
The bonus needs about $2,667 a month of spending — more than the typical $2,070 — so it isn't counted in the year-one value above.
Calculate it with your own spendingIs the annual fee worth it?
Probably not worth the fee after year one for typical spending: the no-fee Hilton Honors Card would net about $163 a year more. It can still make sense if you spend more in its bonus categories or use more of its credits.
